We’ve made some changes to the privacy notices in our policy documentation
As one of the UK’s leading suppliers for the private rented sector, we’re delighted to be protecting you with one of our specialist insurance products. Whether you’re a landlord protecting your investment property, or a tenant safeguarding your possessions, HomeLet are here to help every step of the way.
As your insurance provider, we’re also responsible for protecting the data and information we hold, relating to you and your policy(ies). That’s why, in line with the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) coming into effect on the 25th May 2018, we’ve made some changes to the privacy notices in our policy documentation.
Below you’ll find links to our updated Privacy Notice's which replaces the version contained in your current policy wording. If you have multiple policies with us, then we can confirm that this notice applies to all of your HomeLet insurance policies.
These changes make it clear how we, and our Underwriters AGEAS Insurance Limited, collect, use, store and share your information as part of the insurance services we provide, along with clearly outlining your rights in relation to your data.
Please take time to read this and store a copy with your policy documentation.
If you have a Protection for Tenants policy, which was purchased between 1998 and 2010 please refer to the update below.
