Shelter campaigns for letting agent fees to be abolished

Recent research conducted by the housing and homelessness charity Shelter has found that one in four people who have dealt with a letting agency in the last three years said they borrowed money to pay for fees, one in six reported cutting down on food or heating to meet the cost of fees and one in four say that letting fees have stopped them from getting a new home.
