HomeLet is reminding all customers to make sure they take advantage of a great new online facility.
The Tenant Application Tracker was launched in April 2011 and allows prospective tenants to check at what status their application for a rental property is. It also enables them to communicate with HomeLet directly and submit further information if required.
This facility is the first of its kind for the lettings industry, and so HomeLet is urging customers to use it to make the referencing process easier and more efficient.
Benefits to tenants and agents
As well as offering assistance to tenants, letting agents also benefit from the Tenant Application Tracker. All emails sent by a tenant through the Tenant Application Tracker will be prioritised – helping HomeLet to complete references quicker.
In addition, letting agents have the opportunity to more commission. If a tenant visits the Tenant Application Tracker and decides to take out insurance online, the commission will be assigned to the individual agent.
Who is it for?
The Tenant Application Tracker is available for all tenants referenced on an Enhance, Optimum, Extra and Advantage product (this excludes guarantors, and of course Insight or Xpress references, because they’re instant).
In addition, the Tenant Application Tracker speeds up HomeLet’s referencing process and helps to set letting agents apart from competitors, whilst providing an excellent service to their customers.
Easy to use
At the beginning of the reference process all details are emailed to the hopeful tenant by HomeLet. Tenants can then access the Tenant Application Tracker whenever they require at homelet.co.uk/tenants/reference-tracker
Letting agents are also encouraged to inform as many tenants as possible about the facility when they apply for a rental property.
