Renting Rules for Landlords and Tenants

Posted on 2017-10-27

Whether you’re a landlord or a tenant, managing the upkeep of a rental property can sometimes be a bit of a challenge. Developing a good relationship, along with some mutual rules and regulations can go a long way towards making things a lot more harmonious and straightforward.

Once a tenancy agreement has been signed, it’s down to both parties to ensure that everyone is kept in the loop and comfortable. For landlords, this includes not entering the property without permission and being prompt with any repairs, for tenants, it’s important to keep inventory records and meet payment deadlines.

Download our new Renting Rules eBook for top tips for both landlords and tenants, from trying to get ahead on rent instalments to respecting the rules around making modifications. You’ll also find views from bloggers who wanted to share their own personal stories of being tenants.
