New Licensing Scheme launched by NAEA

The National Association of Estate Agents (NAEA) has introduced a licensing scheme to promote professional standards and to try and protect home buyers and sellers from unqualified estate agents.

The scheme was launched on Wednesday 17th November at the House of Commons by Housing Minister Grant Shapps and a delegation from the NAEA including Simon Gerrard MNAEA, MARLA, Managing Director of Martyn Gerrard Estate Agents.

Commenting on the launch Simon said: “We are proud to be one of the first estate agents in the country to be appointed a Licensed Member of the NAEA” Said Simon “We have championed the drive to raise standards for many years and I am delighted that this scheme will provide the public with the means to quickly recognize and estate agent who takes pride in their profession and is able to provide a reliable and expert service”.

Simon Gerrard who was fortunate enough to spend some time with the Housing Minister was pleased to note his enthusiasm and support for the scheme and raising professional standards in the industry.
